A lawsuit has been launched by 17 attendees of Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival in 2021 against several individuals in connection with the festival’s disaster.

This complaint is the most recent of a series filed by guests who claimed to have suffered injuries while at the event.According to the lawsuit, the defendants’ actions and/or inactions at the 2021 Astroworld Festival directly andproximally caused the plaintiffs’ physical harm and psychological distress.

Defendants “egregiously failed to protect those in attendance at Astroworld Festival 2021’s health, safety, and lives,” according to the lawsuit. Presenting “Astroworld: Countdown to Tragedy” is KPRC 2 Investigates. The lawsuit names Live Nation, ScoreMore, Apple, ASM Global Parent, Inc., Travis Scott, Drake, and other individuals as defendants.

According to the lawsuit, the defendants disregarded safety regulations pertaining to crowd management and security preparation even though they were aware of the risks.

“Defendants did not execute the aforementioned criteria with reasonable care, and in certain cases, they did not complete these crucial safety activities at all. The case claims that the defendants disregarded all warning indications and disregarded a number of industry, governmental, and/or common sense safety regulations.

According to the case, the plaintiffs’ goal is to persuade the judge and jury that the defendants’ actions amounted to willful negligence. “Defendants deliberately, recklessly, and willfully failed to organize, staff, manage, operate, and oversee this event, putting attendees in grave danger, but they chose to ignore this fact. Plaintiffs’ injuries were directly caused by the defendants’ egregious negligence, and as a result, exemplary damages ought to be granted against them, the case claims.
