Travis Scott’s OG Air Jordan 1 Low Golf became a new wave when it was always sold out and suppliers made unreasonable demands, making it difficult to own fans

There were rumors throughout the sneaker community about this time last year that Travis Scott was abandoning the Air Jordan 1 in favor of other models from the Nike archives. Although these rumors appeared to be true for a few months, in June of this year, a few hazy pictures of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG Golf “Neutral Olive” surfaced on Discord accounts all across the country. And surprisingly enough, it’s coming out.

It’s the rapper from Texas’s first-ever golf shoe, and it’s inspired by one of Scott’s older colorways and modeled after Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 1 Low (no way!). Working on top of “Neutral Olive” suede, it has panels upon panels of “Sail” leather stitched over the tongue tag and heel badge, with “Light Lemon Twist” branding added for emphasis.

For further comfort and cushioning, the midsole has been infused with Nike’s Air technology, as can be seen below. For improved traction on the golf course, the new outsole has increased traction, making it the perfect shoe for sneakerheads who pretend to play golf. Scott’s recognizable reverse Swoosh in “Black,” which debuted on his Air Jordan 1 High OG “Dark Mocha” in 2019, completes the trainer.

Travis Scott has collaborated on over 20 pairs of sneakers, nearly half of which have been Air Jordan 1s. Six of these pairs were the Low edition, including the renowned Fragment Design project from 2021.

Back then, this particular pair was kind of huge thing. Three-way collaborations are uncommon in the first place, and this particular one was created in collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara, the godfather of Japanese streetwear.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Golf “Neutral Olive” by Travis Scott is scheduled to drop on October 13 for £145 at Nike, the SNKRS app, and a few select retailers worldwide. Don’t forget to add it to your rotation.
