Overwhelmed with the ultimate luxury image inside the house of hit rapper Drake

Remember those flashy, over-the-top McMansions featured on MTV’s Cribs? Well, Aubrey Drake Graham’s Toronto abode is in a league of its own. Spanning a staggering 50,000 square feet, this mansion is a marvel of craftsmanship and extravagance, a far cry from the gaudy excess of typical celebrity homes. Designed by Canadian architect and interior designer Ferris Rafauli, Drake’s residence, dubbed The Embassy, exudes timeless elegance with a contemporary twist.

Drawing inspiration from Beaux Arts architecture, the home boasts an exterior of limestone, bronze, and exotic woods, exuding opulence from every angle. The interior, aptly described as “modern Art Deco,” showcases Rafauli’s meticulous attention to detail and flair for blending classic styles with a contemporary spirit. The rooms are grand in scale, with the entry hall featuring solid limestone and Nero Marquina marble, topped by an antique mirror ceiling framed in bronze.

The epic great room soars 44 feet high and is adorned with bespoke elements, including a concert grand piano designed in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and Rafauli. Art Deco influences take center stage in the vibrant canary-yellow lounge, complete with a spectacular backlit hexagonal ceiling and a stunning Venini-glass sunburst chandelier.

Drake’s master-bedroom suite, spanning 3,200 square feet, is his favorite sanctuary. Luxurious touches abound, from the custom-made Hästens bed and bed base to the awe-inspiring 4,000-pound tub carved from a single block of black marble in the master bath.

Throughout the residence, every corner tells a story, showcasing Drake’s journey from his beginnings on the Canadian television show Degrassi: The Next Generation to becoming a Grammy-winning artist. The home also houses a world-class recording studio, a well-equipped kitchen from Rafauli’s new La Cornue line, a hall of sports jerseys, and a museum-like awards room.

Surveying his awe-inspiring Canadian masterpiece, Drake reflects on his vision and determination, having taken on the ambitious project at the young age of 27. His home stands as a testament to his unwavering faith in himself and his roots, forever solidifying his connection to the place where it all began.
