Over the past few days, DJ Khaled and Kanye West have been collaborating on new songs at the producer’s opulent Miami residence. Khaled surprised the rap mogul by giving him a pair of extremely rare Jordan sneakers during a brief break in their Saturday practice.
Since there were only 100 pairs produced, as Khaled repeatedly mentioned in an Instagram video, Ye was clearly grateful for the gesture based on the large, beaming smile that was plastered on his face. Khaled has been posting videos of their most recent musical endeavors on his social media accounts, but he has taken care to exclude any audio to prevent online song leaks.
With regard to the post about his unexpected present for West, though, it was untrue. When he lifted a sneaker box from a speaker and took out the sneakers, the audio was crystal clear. “I take it you wear a size 12?” The 46-year-old record producer, Khaled Mohammed Khaled, asks, to which Ye quickly replied, “Yes, sir.”
Khaled repeatedly says, “Only 100 made,” all the while showcasing the shoes like a professional salesperson.
Man in Black: The producer and rapper looked dapper in an all-black outfit that included his brand-new, knee-high black leather boots and jacket.
Wearing knee-high leather boots and all black, West was almost speechless as he watched with a beaming smile on his face. His pal went on to highlight the Jordans, pointing out their blue color and black and white pattern around the heel and front corners.
The I Love It hitmaker first praised the unexpected gesture with, “Ah, man.” Ye was reminded by Khaled that he may wear the shoes to the hip-hop icon’s next Fashion Week appearance.
During the collaborative session, Khaled gave a pair of rare Jordans in his shoe size to Justin Laboy, a former basketball player who was also standing around. He was heard adding to the social media influencer, who was equally grateful for the unexpected offer, “Let me get yours, yours are right here.”
