As a way to celebrate Apple’s offer to own Beats Electronics, the self-proclaimed first billionaire of hip-hop, Dr. Dre, has reportedly owned Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s enormous, $50M property in California. Page Six was the first publication to report this news.
While the acquisition of Beats Electronics by Apple for a price of $3.2B has not yet been officially announced by either party, Dr. Dre has been very busy hunting for a new mansion that is more befitting of a billionaire.
According to our sources, Dre has submitted a bid for the Brentwood mansion owned by Bundchen and Brady that is in the neighborhood of the $50M asking price.
The mega-mansion that spans 14,000 square feet and has been featured in Architectural Digest is equipped with six bedrooms, a library, a gym that is equipped with the most advanced equipment,an infinity pool, a waterfall, and even a moat. There has been no mention of the sound system, but you can be sure that Dre will have his very own installed.
According to a source of ours, “Dre put in an offer on the mansion as soon as it came on the market, and he is just a few weeks away from closing.” It was not entirely apparent whether Dr. Dre would promptly list his existing property in the Hollywood Hills as available for own.
