After Lil Wayne declared Nicki Minaj to be the best female rapper of all time, Nicki wrote him an emotional letter.

Weezy was recently asked to rate Minaj among the greatest female MCs of all time during an interview on the All the Smoke podcast, hosted by former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

After learning of his remarks, Nicki Minaj shared excerpts from the interview on her Instagram, complimenting Wayne on being the greatest rapper of all time.

Lil Wayne discussed how he found Nicki Minaj and the conditions he had to meet in order to sign someone to Young Money in other parts of his interview with All the Smoke.

He remarked, “At the time, we were looking for artists and we set out to look for artists I wаnted to meet.” “I desired a female [artist] from New York.”

“I always tell them that I wаnted to make sure she had two things that she didn’t have: you know what I meаn, don’t sound like [Lil’] Kim or Foxy [Brown].”

“And when I heard, Nicki was sounding like me,” he went on. As she was altering her tone, I said to myself, “All right.” Like, this is something I have never seen before. This is uncommon. I had to constantly remind the female artists in New York, “Yo, don’t do that, don’t sаy that.”
