Kanye West is a fan of Coldplay. No, he is a true fan of Coldplay. He is so confident in their abilities that he has stated publicly that Chris Martin and company are “more talented than The Beatles.”

“America has, and probably always will, dominate music across the globe, but it’s always been the British who pull out that very special band,” said the ever modest West.

“The British have had the best, with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones setting the standard. We have had incredible bands like Nirvana and Guns N’ Roses.” I genuinely believe that Coldplay and The Beatles are on par, and I adore them both.

“People will look back on Coldplay in thirty years and say, ‘These guys were more talented than The Beatles.'” Chris Martin is a genius that I have had the pleasure of working with. In terms of both songwriting and performance, he is comparable to John Lennon.

He went on, “I am not saying this sort of shit lightly.” “It’s the man’s incredible talent. And Coldplay is even more legendary than The Beatles, making them the greatest of all time.”

Never one to back down from a challenge, West—who did collaborate with Martin on the 2008 song “Homecoming”—said he would like to get serious with the entire Coldplay lineup because they could make “one of the greatest albums ever.”
