Kanye West is a devoted Coldplay enthusiast. Scratch that, he’s a HUGE Coldplay fan. To the point where he boldly declares that Chris Martin and the gаng are “more talented than The Beatles.”
In Kanye’s characteristic style, he shares, “America has, and probably always will, dominate music across the globe, but it’s always been the British who pull out that very special band.
“While we’ve had phenomenal bands like Nirvana and Gu𝚗s N’ Roses, it’s the British who boast the cream of the crop, with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones setting the standard. I adore Coldplay, and I genuinely believe they stand shoulder to shoulder with The Beatles.
“In 30 years, when Coldplay is grizzled and gray, people will reflect and declare, ‘These guys were more talented than The Beatles.’ I’ve collaborated with Chris Martin, and the man is a genius. As a performer and a songwriter, he matches up to the likes of John Lennon.
“I’m not tossing around such statements lightly,” he adds. “It’s a genuine acknowledgment of the guy’s immense talent. And Coldplay could go down in history as the greatest ever—perhaps even surpassing The Beatles.”
Never one to hold back, West, who previously collaborated with Martin on the 2008 track Homecoming, expresses his desire to team up with the entire Coldplay crew, envisioning the creation of “one of the greatest albums ever.”
