As it turned out, last month Eminem tweeted about a particular Weezy lyric that completely floored him. At the tweet’s conclusion, he even says he’s sorry he couldn’t come up with the lyrics himself. When asked about working in the studio with a legend like Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz recently discussed the impending release of their second collaborative album.

There seems to be a natural chemistry between us, at least on my end. There is a great level of respect between us and we genuinely like working together. Two Chainz recently said in an interview, “As I always sаy, steel sharpens steel.” He discussed the music he and Lil Wayne had been creating with Zane Lowe. So, there’s always a little bit of pressure for each verse to top the last. I see no harm in doing so. I believe that competition is beneficial in all that we pursue.
