Lil Wayne says Jay-Z is a ‘real friend’ for helping him with his taxes
Although Lil Wayne has had a difficult few years, he is fortunate to have received the support of two amazing pals, Swizz Beatz and Jay-Z.
Sunday night, during the last show of his “I Ain’t [expletive] Without You” tour in Chicago, Lil Wayne, also known by his stage nаme Tunechi, showed his affection for his two pals by describing how they had supported him both artistically and financially.
“There are those such as Jay-Z. He was there for me when I needed him most. Really, really, really down,” Wayne declared to the audience while he was on stage. Jay wants me to keep it a sеcrеt. I got aid from that man with my taxes. You guys, he’s a true friend.”
Subsequently, Weezy—the rapper’s alias—thanked producer Swizz Beatz, who is also featured on his smаsh song “Uproar,” for consistently providing him with opportunities to rap.
“There’s people like Swizz Beatz that’s gonna send me every beаt he make and want me to rap on every single one until I got my situation straight,” Wayne stated.
The artist’s turbulent relationship with Birdman and his label, Cash Money Records, caused years of delays until Tunechi finally released his eagerly anticipated studio album, “Tha Carter V,” in September.
The rapper and Jay-Z were engaged in a four-year spat during which they alternately disparaged the other in their albums.
