DJ Khaled exposes promoter after being booed on stage at EDC festival

It did not impress Khaled. After being jeered by attendees at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, DJ Khaled alleges that his performance was hampered. The music mogul seemed to start his show late and came out on stage to a chorus of jeers from the audience.

DJ Khaled, however, has since attacked “They” for attempting to “sabotage my sound” and “cut my set short.”  The “Wild Thoughts” hitmaker seemed to accuse the event promoters of manipulating his sound in the angry Instagram post.

But Insomniac Events, the tour promoter in charge of organizing the EDC festival, reacted in a statement to Billboard.  “Due to technical difficulties beyond DJ Khaled and Insomniac’s control, Khaled was not able to perform at his scheduled time on Sunday night at EDC,” Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac’s CEO,

“He was ready to rock the crowd when he arrived on schedule, but technical difficulties cut short his performance. Technical issues notwithstanding, he took the stage and gave his fans his all.

Khaled ends his Instagram post with the words “love is always the answer,” suggesting that he has forgotten about his anger and has forgiven “they.”
