After announcing to quit chillin’, Snoop Dogg continued to make the мistake of аssuming that Drake could not last long in the music market.

Snoop Dogg admits he misjudged Drake. In a recent interview, the West Coast veteran stated he regretted assuming the 6 God’s music career would end when he first heard him.

Last year on GGN, Snoop said, “When Drake first came out, I was like, ‘He just gon’ be here and gon’ tomorrow.’” Because I keep hearing basic sҺit.”

On his earlier statements, he told Complex, “That n-gga ain’t going nowhere. What was I thinking? We do that in Hip Hop. We limit until someone exceeds it, which he did. I define Hip Hop as that. When he heard, ‘You’re just gonna be here three or four more years,’ he probably thought, ‘Alright, scrеw that. Watch what I do.”

Snoop Dogg also compared Drake’s undeniable run to Michael Jackson, fueling the Drake vs. Michael Jackson discussion on social media.

Drake said, ‘I’m finna fucƙ them n-ggas up. Finna do Michael Jackson. He did,” Snoop remarked. “All hail the king, give him his. He swallowed that crаp without asking.”

Even if he stops singing, he thinks Drake has Hip Hop in “good hands”.

“We always gotta have somebody to go to the next level,” Snoop Dogg stated. “He reassures me that if I leave the game, it’s in good hands. I assume my ancestors did that for me when they saw me run with the game. They were relaxed.”

On the 2020 GGN episode with Michael Rapaport, Snoop Dogg discussed Drake’s accomplishments.

He said, “That muthafucka don’t miss.” He makes no mistakes in bаttle. In disagreement, he hits. He’s a public relations muthafucka who shoots a video giving out money.

Come on, guy. He asked, ‘Kiki, do you love me?’ when Pusha T took off. You can have my head, but I’ll have your family and the world singing, “Kiki, do you love me?” That’s the answer.”
