As he bid farewell to the residence he had lived in throughout his adolescence, rapper Lil Wayne wept
Lil Wayne, also known as Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., purchased a newly built spec mansion on Miami Beach’s Allison Island for $16.8 million nearly four years ago. Now, the “Lollipop” rapper is selling this contemporary home for $29.5 million, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The updated listing includes features like a commercial elevator, a luxurious cinema theater with suede walls, a wine cellar, and dedicated staff quarters with a butler’s kitchen. The property boasts a 110-foot dock and waterfront.
The mansion, constructed in 2017 by developer Laurent Harari and architect Ralph Choeff, offers seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and approximately 10,300 square feet of living space with high ceilings, walls of glass, and seamless indoor-outdoor areas.
The tropical grounds feature a large pool, an open-air cabana with a kitchen and bath, and ample outdoor entertainment spaces. Cyril Matz of Douglas Elliman is the listing agent, and Lil Wayne has since moved into his $15.4 million Hidden Hills residence.
