After taking canvasses to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where Beyonce was performing her Renaissance tour, Lauryn Michele was on NBC.
The painting captivated Jay-Z, who bought three works showing his 15-year-old bride.
Michele announced the news on TikTоk, garnering tens of thousands of views in one day.
The video title read: ‘POV, you were on the news and Jay-Z bought your paintings.’
The video followed the artist as she arrived at the East Rutherford venue, presenting her piece to TV cameras before filming herself watching the report that night.
TikTоk users gushed about Michele’s talent and astonished.
Three days previously, Michele released a video of her making one of the pieces, showing how much work it required.
There were several views of her paintings. However, she interacted with Jay-Z eleven times.
This is familiar to Michele. She has sold paintings to celebs including Arina Fletcher and Megan Thee Stallion.
On tour, Beyonce has been working hard.
The Renaissance concert is two and a half hours long with six acts, and Beyonce played the songs in order. She sang songs from her catalog.
Beyonce’s singing performance and production value were applauded.
After visiting Europe until June 28, Beyonce began her North American tour in Toronto on July 8.
She performed two gigs at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 28 and 30.
The performance will tour the U.S. and stop in Vancouver. The tour will “wind its way for the finale at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City” on Oct. 1.
