Atlanta-born hip-hop artist Future, also known as Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, is undoubtedly having a remarkable time. Not only has he been hailed as the “Best Rapper Alive” in a GQ article, but he also made a significant business move by selling the rights to over 600 titles in his publishing catalog to Influence Media Partners for a deal in the “high eight figures.” On top of that, he is set to collaborate with Rihanna on the upcoming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.
Future’s success extends beyond his music career to the realm of real estate. According to The Real Deal, he recently purchased a nearly new mansion on Miami Beach’s exclusive guard-gated Allison Island for a substantial sum of $16.3 million.
Although this price reflects a discount from the original listing, it is still significantly higher than the $12.5 million the previous owners, French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale, paid for the property in 2020. The Ouazanas also included an adjacent parcel in the transaction, which has since been sold to developers.
Situated on a gated lot spanning over a quarter-acre, Future’s modern residence was constructed in 2020. Surrounded by majestic palm trees, the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home offers nearly 8,000 square feet of living space characterized by high ceilings, expansive windows, and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The property boasts luxurious amenities such as an elevator, rooftop terrace, detached guesthouse, staff quarters, and a three-car garage.
The house features a spacious great room encompassing living and dining areas, complemented by a sleekly designed kitchen equipped with custom Ornare cabinetry, a large eat-in island, and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances.
Additionally, there is an elegant master retreat on the upper level, complete with a seating area featuring a wet bar and wine refrigerator, a generous balcony, dual walk-in closets, and a lavish bathroom featuring dual vanities, a glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding soaking tub.
Outside, the resort-style grounds offer an infinity-edge pool and a raised spa, accompanied by an open-air cabana with a kitchen setup, providing ample space for outdoor relaxation and entertainment. With its own dock and 75 feet of water frontage, the property can accommodate a luxury yacht.
The listing for the property was represented by Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman, while the buyer was represented by Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp LLC. Future’s latest real estate acquisition reflects his continued success and demonstrates his ability to embrace the finer things in life.
