Even though Prince Harry has pals all over the world, it appears that he only mentioned a small number of close confidants in his fantastic memoir, Spare, including Chris Martin of Coldplay!
The Duke dedicates a particular section of his autobiography to his mother-in-law Doria, his wife Meghan Markle, and their children Archie and Lilibet. The book is scheduled to be released worldwide on Tuesday.
In addition, Chris, Oprah Winfrey, James Corden, Tyler Perry, Nacho Figueras, and his spouse Delfina Blaquier are acknowledged for “their unwavering friendship and support”.
However, many will be curious as to how he became pals with the vocalist of Coldplay. It’s likely that the two stayed close after Harry asked Chris and, The Prince demonstrated his cool credentials by going on stage with the band for their last song, Up & Up, and shaking hands with Chris at the close of the show.
“Thank you to Coldplay – thank you so much, you’ve rocked the palace, you’ve rocked the palace,” Prince Harry said in a post-show speech.
Chris has composed a song for the first Invictus Games back in 2014. Before the musical, which was inspired on William Ernest Henley’s 19th-century poem Invictus, was released, the two were posted on social media at the recording studio.
