On Thursday, Drake debuted a fun new hairdo on social media that brought comparisons to animated figures.
The 36-year-old rapper from Canada shared pictures of himself with vivid bubblegum pink hair clips divided into side buns on his Instagram Stories.
The tearful artist, who just gave a fan a $35,000 Hermes purse, was seated on the bleachers of a gym, wearing blue T-shirt and blue jeans, his hair parted in the middle.
In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), the new appearance was likened to a well-known Disney character.
In the post, Drake was seated next to 35-year-old NBA player Kevin Durant, who appeared to be laughing together.
The post read, “Drake to Barber: let me get the Minnie Mouse.”
“Barber: Stop talking,” it continued.
“Lol how does Drake look like a cartoon character,” said one other post.
Another commenter said, “Drake is just begging to be a meme atp.”
Socioeconomic inequality was mentioned in another piece as the reason behind the hairdo.
Suρer-rich individuals are constantly required to have some ridiculous aspect of their appearance. They want you to know that your opinions don’t meаn s***, so they’re daring you to laugh at them. One post said, “Trump’s got his hair and his orange fake tan, and now Drake’s got this.”
Another commenter made a joke on Drake’s hairdo and smile.
It said, “KD told Drake that he’s going to get him a pony for his birthday.”
