The Miami-based DJ commandeered Club Renaissance throughout the course of the previous two days, September 1 and 2, in advance of Queen Bey’s main event. Like he has done in years past, Khaled assembled a number of his famous pals and created a number of priceless moments. The “Supposed To Be Loved” singer invited Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Coi Leray, Offset, Roddy Ricch, and 2 Chainz to perform their greatest songs on Friday night.
“Win with us… or watch us win!!” Through social media, Khaled wrote. “Thank you @beyonce thank you @sc.”
Rappers from all over the country showed up to support Khaled during his opening set on September 2nd. YG and Big Sean opened for him with a performance of their song “Big Bank.” Sean stayed back to perform “I Don’t F**k With You” and “Dance (A$$).” Also, Khaled invited Doechii from Florida to sing “What It Is (Block Boy)” and O.T. Genesis to play “Cut It” and “Everybody Mad.” Lil Durk returned to Club Renaissance after Roddy Ricch.
A few days before to taking the stage, Khaled revealed his opening set last week. Nor is this the first time he has shown himself to Mrs. Carter. In 2018, Khaled supported JAY-Z and Beyoncé on their “On The Run II Tour” as the opening act. See further clips from Khaled’s Los Angeles Renaissance Tour opening sets below.
