Throughout their four-year, on-again, off-again relationship, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner have had fans guessing at every turn. Don’t they date? Might they be married in secret? Will he pop the question at the halftime show of the Super Bowl?
Following yet another sabbatical in late 2021, the couple reconciled and revealed they were expecting a son, Aire. After having their second child, the couple reportedly split up again in late 2022, maybe for real this time.
Here’s a summary of the events leading up to their recent (and much watched) breakup.
A Coachella party was where Jenner and Scott were spotted hanging together not long after Jenner’s breakup with another on-again, off-again lover, Tyga. However, it didn’t seem like there was “Love Galore” between the two just yet. “[Travis Scott] and Kylie have also been friends for a while, and they all hang out,” a People source claims. She attempts to make Tyga envious by hanging around with other guys when they are having issues.
Later on in the month, pictures of the reclusive couple watching an NBA playoff game from courtside surfaced. Not to mention, Scott’s hometown of Houston hosted the game.
According to E!, Jenner and Scott concluded their hectic month in Boston. According to the site, Scott was doing two gigs there over the weekend, and the budding couple spent time together. A few hours later, a story from Page Six revealed that Jenner was in New York City at Cipriani celebrating Scott’s 25th birthday.
Images of Jenner and Scott from May 2017’s Rolling Loud Festival in Miami demonstrated that their flirting was still going strong. In fact, at the time, an insider told Us Weekly, “Travis is telling friends that he and Kylie are a real deal.” The two “really looked like a couple” at Scott’s recent birthday celebration, an additional source told the site.
Even though the relatively new couple did not (yet) walk the Met Gala red carpet hand in hand, the occasion was significant. Jenner posted a group photo from the evening that featured her buddy Jaden Smith and sister Kendall, among others. Scott was just barely visible in the photo, so could they be considered Instagram official?
