A new show has been added to Coldplay’s Australian tour in 2024 due to high demand

Another event has been added to Coldplay’s 2024 Australian tour, which will take place after a fantastic month for the band’s admirers nationwide thanks to a run of sold-out shows at Optus Stadium in Western Australia.

The band will perform in October and November in Melbourne and Sydney when they return to Australia in 2024.

A third Coldplay Music Of The Spheres World Tour date has been added, and it will take place on November 2nd at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne due to overwhelming demand.

In order to guarantee their place, fans may sign up on Coldplay.com right now. The ticket presale started today, Wednesday, November 29. Soon after, on Friday, December 1st at 10 a.m. local time, the general ticket sale will begin.

Since it began in March 2022, the Music of the Spheres World Tour has been a huge success, selling over 9 million tickets and becoming the most popular tour in the previous two years. Along with being a commercial success, the tour has also received positive reviews and won accolades like Tour of the Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards and Favorite Touring Artist at the 2022 AMAs.

In addition to their artistic accomplishments, Coldplay has given sustainability a lot of thought. In a recent update to fans about the tour’s environmental impact, the band disclosed a notable decrease in CO2 emissions as compared to their tour in 2016–17. Remarkably, they have also helped plant more than 7 million trees globally—one for every concertgoer.

Coldplay’s dedication to environmental awareness was further acknowledged when they were included in TIME Magazine’s first-ever TIME100 Climate list. This recognition highlights their impact as global leaders spearheading effective climate action and serving as a role model for the music industry.

The legendary band, who won Tour of the Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards, will bring their spectacular stadium show, bursting with lasers, fireworks, and LED wristbands, to Perth after a triumphant 2022 in which they broke attendance records worldwide and sold more concert tickets than any other artist. They will perform classic hits like “Yellow,” “Viva La Vida,” “Clocks,” “A Sky Full Of Stars,” and “My Universe.”

The Music of the Spheres World Tour began in March 2022 and has since sold over six million tickets throughout Europe, North America, and Latin America. Both fans and critics have given the tour high marks; The Times called it “the greatest live music show ever,” the Dallas Observer praised the visuals as “mind-blowing,” and the Houston Chronicle called the band’s performance “pure joy.”

A certain quantity of Infinity Tickets for Coldplay’s performances will go on sale later. Every Coldplay performance features the introduction of Infinity Tickets, which allow fans to experience the Music Of The Spheres World Tour at a reasonable cost. Each ticket will set you back $32 AUD or $32 NZD. Tickets can only be purchased in pairs, with each buyer being able to purchase a maximum of two (which will be situated next to each other).

The band has also disclosed that Emmanuel Kelly and PinkPantheress would be their support acts for the performances.

As the Music of the Spheres World Tour’s official logistics partner, DHL helps the band achieve its goal of a 50% reduction in the tour’s direct emissions.
