Roger Federer joins Coldplay as fifth member, says ‘Adventure of a lifetime’

Roger Federer, a 20-time grand slam champion and legendary tennis player, performed alongside British rock group Coldplay on stage. At Coldplay’s concert on Saturday in Zurich, Switzerland, Federer joined them for a song.

As part of its “Music of the Spheres” world tour, the rock group performed for a large number of visitors throughout the course of the previous year. Before Federer, a number of well-known celebrities performed with Coldplay on stage, including Craig David, Lupe Fiasco, Lauren Mayberry of Chvrches, and Bruce Springsteen.

Federer came on stage with Coldplay at the Stadion Letzigrund in Zurich. Chris Martin, the band’s lead singer, joined forces with Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and bassist Guy.

Chris Martin opened for the tennis legend on stage with a made-up tale about how Federer had only been a member of the original band for three months in 1996 before leaving to become the best player in history. “We had five members in 1996, but the fifth member played percussion. He was with us for about three months before he decided to screw this,” he stated. I’m going to go out there and break all previous records in tennis. However, he is back today to perform percussion.”

Roger Federer posted photos from the Coldplay event, one of which showed the tennis player and his spouse Mirka Federer getting together backstage for a group photo. Federer wrote “Adventure of a Lifetime” as the caption for his photo.

In the meantime, Coldplay captioned a video they posted of Federer joining the British band onstage. Is there anything this guy isn’t capable of? We appreciate you getting back to us.

Overjoyed followers expressed their happiness at seeing their idols together. “It was sooo good to see you Roger!” one user wrote. You really are radiant! And how very unsettling”

“What a dream night it was to witness Coldplay and Federer sharing stage,” a person commented.

One more person remarked, “Best post-retirement life.”
