Beyoncé attended Taylor Swift’s celebration of the launch of her Eras Tour concert video last month. Now, Swift is showing her support for Queen Bey by going out in style, demonstrating once more how these girls truly rule the world.
The singers got back together on Thursday at the London premiere of Beyoncé’s concert video, Renaissance World Tour, where Swift, 33, demonstrated her support for her fellow industry titan. She also made sure to rock a stunning silver ensemble in homage to the Renaissance dress code.
Swift emulated a mirrorball while wearing a sparkling sequin Balmain gown, Giuseppe Zanotti heels, and Anita Ko jewelry. She accessorized the ensemble with a deep side part and her trademark red lip.
Swift made her last appearance alongside Beyoncé during the Eras Tour concert film premiere in Los Angeles in October.
The “Anti-Hero” singer celebrated her record-breaking world tour and danced to hits from her career, sharing on Instagram how much it meant to her to have Queen Bey there.
Swift posted a boomerang video of herself with Beyoncé inside a movie theater along with the caption, “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would have been like without @beyonce’s influence.” The way she’s educated me, along with every other artist here, to disobey industry conventions and breach the law. Her sense of generosity. Her adaptability and tenacity.”
Swift went on, “She’s been a beacon of hope for me throughout my career, and her presence tonight was truly magical. 🥹.”
The star-studded L.A. premiere that Beyoncé staged on Saturday, where she unveiled her platinum blonde look, is followed by the London premiere of her concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.
Swift had plenty of support back home in Los Angeles as well, as four of her old Destiny’s Child bandmates, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett, joined her in London to honor Beyoncé.
Stars including Vanessa Bryant, Gabrielle Union, and Lori Harvey were also present for the premiere.
This summer, Swift and Beyoncé’s massive tours took the world by storm, and the two singers have a lovely friendship that goes all the way back to the 2009 VMAs.
They’ve both previously recounted some of their enjoyable times together, supporting one another through a number of professional turning points and even sharing birthday celebrations.
Swift disclosed in 2021 that she received a bunch of flowers from Beyoncé following her historic achievement as the first female artist to win the Grammy for third album of the year for her album Folklore.
Swift responded to Beyoncé’s congratulations and thanking her for “always being so supportive” by stating on her Instagram Story that the day was “the best Friday EVER” in light of the thoughtful gift.
