KANYE WEST wants to buy back Lil Durk’s record label contract: ‘I accept any price’

As to a report released by TMZ on Monday, November 27, insiders assert that Kanye West is in preliminary talks with Lil Durk’s record label, Alamo Records. As per the celebrity news website, Todd Moscowitz, the CEO of the label, is said to have declined to approve Durk’s verse on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s recently released song “Vultures.” Kanye wants to pay to have his fellow Chicago rhymer released from his contractual duties because of this.

Durk debuted the song live for the first time this past weekend at Blu Dubai nightclub with “Vultures” colleagues Ye, Ty Dolla $ign, and Bump J.

Following Lil Durk’s verse being deleted from the final version of “Vultures” that was released on streaming platforms on November 22, Ye is reportedly attempting to buy Durk out of his contract at Alamo. The original version, which had a 16 from Durkio, made its radio debut in Chicago. But when the song was made available to DSPs, the Chicago rapper’s part was missing, which infuriated fans.

With Ty Dolla $ign, Kanye is now releasing his new album, which has had some hiccups. Ye has been finishing up the album in Saudi Arabia; Ty recently said the record is “coming real soon.”
