Some people don’t think this all that sweet of a Willy Wonka reference. With the official release of his most recent album, Utopia, Travis Scott has already ignited a social media fire with one song in particular.

Fans think the rapper, who shares children Stormi, 5, and Aire, 17 months, with ex Kylie Jenner, took a subtle jab at her reported boyfriend Timothée Chalamet after hearing his song “Meltdown,” a collaboration with Drake.

In the July 28-released single, “Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs / Got the Willy Wonka factory,” he raps. “Find another flame hot as me, bitch / Burn an athlete like its calories.”

In case you missed it, Timothée is starring as the adored figure in the December release of Wonka.

Twitter users commented on the potential diss soon after the song was released. One person wrote, “Never in my life would I’ve thought to witness travis scott dissing timothee chalamet.”

“Listening to Meltdown again lmfao why Travis dissing Timothee,” another person commented. “I mean…thanks for the Wonka promo I guess,” a third person joked.

The representatives of Travis, Kylie, and Timothée were contacted by E! News for comments, but they did not respond.

The Kardashians actress and actor from Dune are rumored to be dating. This happened months after it was reported that Travis and Kylie, who had been together intermittently since 2017, had officially announced their separation. The last public event the ex-couple attended together was a Miami Art Basel celebration in December. However, that does not imply that the two are no longer in love. In fact, early in April, Travis and Kylie gave rise to rumors of a reconciliation when he simply wrote, “A Beauty,” in a comment on one of her Instagram images. Regarding Timothée, the Academy Award nominee dated Eiza González and Lourdes Leon before dating Kylie. He most recently dated Lily-Rose Depp for two years, ending in 2020.
