Leaked controversial conversation between Travis Scott and tennis star John McEnroe over the name of their Nike Mac Attack sneaker collaboration

A video of Travis Scott holding a Zoom conference with tennis legend John McEnroe and other Nike execs went viral on social media on Saturday, December 9. The video shows McEnroe, who is well-known for his explosive outbursts when playing tennis, being upset with Trav because he refuses to rename their Nike Mac аttаck sneaker collaboration from Cactus Jack—the rapper’s successful brand—to Cactus Mac for this one time.

“Oh my god, Travis. Watch the video below to hear Mac exclaim, “Jenny is right, okay, let’s have a little bit of compromise.”

The Houston rhymer is determined about not altering it to the suggested nаme, despite McEnroe’s best efforts to persuade him.

Nike first revealed in June that John McEnroe’s iconic shoe, the Mac аttаck, would be making a comeback. Together, with the help of Travis Scott’s artistic vision, the two guys brought the shoe to life in anticipation of a well-earned homecoming.

Just like when McEnroe first wore them in 1984, the sneakers came in a white, light silver, and black colorway with a mesh and leather combination. In addition, a commercial featuring Trav and McEnroe was shot to highlight the classic sneaker. See the advertisement below.
