His father is ecstatic that his son, Ashad Khaled, is starting a new academic journey. DJ Khaled posted video of the 6-year-old’s graduation to his Instagram page on Thursday. In front of a crowded auditorium, Khaled’s unique voice roared as he applauded Ashad as he crossed the stage with his tiny class. “HAAAAAAAHD! The producer of “Wild Thoughts” exclaimed, “I’m so proud of you, boy.” With a bright, toothy smile, Asahd proudly showed off his certificate of completion, which included a principal’s honor roll distinction, on the risers. In a another video, Khaled assures the youngster that surprises are in store as he goes down to embrace him in a vibrant classroom.
Asahd has been called executive producer on his father’s records since he was born, thus he is more than just an academic. Thus, DJ Khaled claimed his credits as he and his classmates mimed an age-appropriate and uplifting portion of the artist’s recent hit song, “God Did.” Additionally, the class performed a remix of “All I Do Is Win” in which they sang, “All we do is lead, lead, lead, they follow us!” We are constantly in need of education! And our self-esteem rises each time we enter the classroom!”
You’re crying; I’m not crying.
Ever since the birth of his brother Aalam in 2016 and the birth of Asahd in 2016, Khaled has beamingly talked about how becoming a father has become an essential part of who he is. A photo of Asahd as a baby is featured prominently on the cover of his 2017 album Grateful. The following album bears his name, and he and his brother are shown next to each other on the cover of Khaled Khaled in 2021. He said to Jennifer Hudson on her show in February, “My kids changed my life.” He said to People in 2021, “Because it’s pure, this is the best feeling I’ve ever experienced in my life.” Unless you are a parent, there are just no words to express the experience. That’s just the reality. It’s an incredible emotion for which they haven’t even found a word yet.
