While everyone eagerly awaits the arrival of his Jordan Jumpman Jack and Nike Attack “Cactus Jack,” Travis Scott has been connected to an auction for a pair of shoes he wore—and gave to a fan—at Rolling Loud Munich in July.
A fan named Karim Abdelrahman was present when Scott asked him to come on stage and sing “No Bystanders” with him during his performance in Germany during the summer. After that, La Flame gave Abdelrahman a unique pair of his Air Jordan 1 collaboration sneakers. Scott’s on-foot selection at Rolling Loud was plastered with “Utopia” branding, a reference to the record that would be released just 19 days after his meeting with Abdelrahman, in contrast to the version that was available in stores months before. That unique present is currently up for auction through Goldin, a prominent player in the collectibles industry.
The shoes are definitely used; there are wrinkles all over the toe box and the outsole is covered in filth. Still, they represent a significant period in the history of both Jordan Brand and Scott. The current bid for the pair is more over $4,200 USD as a result. The deadline for Goldin’s auction is this Wednesday, December 20, at 10 p.m. EST. You can use goldin.co right now to make a bid if you’re interested in doing so.
Check out the “Kobe Reverse Grinch,” which will be available for purchase at retail stores on Friday, December 15th.
