The Utopia – Circus Maximus tour show was supposed to take place at United Center. On Friday, after 4 p.m., the venue announced on social media that it was being canceled.

The announcement said, “Travis Scott’s show at United Center scheduled for tonight has been postponed,” and it was shared on Instagram and X, the original name of Twitter.
“Once the new date is announced, all tickets that have already been purchased will be honored. As further details become available, they will be sent to ticket holders directly via email and posted here.
When Scott, 32, posted on X on December 16, he appeared to be hinting that he was stuck on an aircraft. He wrote, “I literally spent 24 hrs on a f–king runway.” The most insane thing ever.I was so excited to go nuts that I told my people in Chicago.

The “Antidote” rapper also commented via X, “IM SOOOOOO F–KKKKINGGGGG HOTTTTTTTTTTT,” right after the postponement. This would make sense if he was actually stuck on a runway, as airlines don’t often turn on the air conditioning until they are in the air.
Fans surmised on Friday night that the rapper known as “Sicko Mode” might not have made it to Chicago in time because he had recently finished a global tour in Saudi Arabia.
Scott performed hits including “Fe!n” and “Goosebumps” to kick off the Soundstorm festival in Riyadh on Thursday, according to an Arabic news source.
