Despite the fact that their relationship is largely private, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have been binge-watching Netflix together, like almost all couples do.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 32-year-old actress disclosed that she and the 44-year-old singer are fans of Squid Game, the Korean survival thriller that last month overtook Shonda Rhimes’ Bridgerton to become Netflix’s “biggest series launch ever” with 111 million views.

“It is really intense,” Johnson remarked. It’s scary at times and happy at others, so it’s confusingly fucked up. And that combination is quite intriguing.”

She said to the site that her time spent with Martin throughout the outbreak had been “great.” Since October 2020, when the frontman of Coldplay bought a $12.5 million property in Malibu, the couple has resided together.

Johnson “seemed like more of a city girl,” but an insider told PEOPLE in February that she has come to embrace her new way of life.

During Coldplay’s London show last month, Martin showed his girlfriend some love by dedicating the band’s most recent hit, “My Universe,” which features BTS, to her.

“This is about my universe, and she’s here,” he declared to the assembly, gesturing to Johnson, who was taking in the performance from a balcony. The How to Be Single actress was then seen clasping her hands together in appreciation in a video that a fan sent to Instagram, and then proceeded to dance to the music.

Martin and Johnson, who have previously raised rumors of an engagement, frequently eat dinner with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, from whom he split in 2016, as well as her 50-year-old husband Brad Falchuk and their 17- and 15-year-old sons, Apple and Moses.

Paltrow, 49, revealed to Harper’s Bazaar in January how much she values Johnson’s presence in her life. “I simply love her,” she said to the publication. “The ampersand symbol often comes to mind when I think of things to introduce in place of resistance or insecurity.
