Eminem and Dr. Dre excited fans when participating in a documentary about Tupac’s life

On April 21, 2023, the new five-part documentary series “Dear Mama: The Saga Of Afeni and Tupac Shakur” debuted on Hulu. Among those that delve deeply into Tupac’s personal life are Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mike Tyson, and Eminem.

It details Tupac Shakur’s life and legacy along with that of his mother, Black Panther activist Afeni Shakur. Tupac’s lyrics clearly reflect the tremendous influence of 1970s Black Panther and feminist Afeni on his life. According to FX, the show investigates the relationship between the 90s culture and the activism of the 1970s.

There are now only two episodes online, but the opening offers a glimpse of more intimate testimonials from notable members of the culture Tupac pioneered.

Dr. Dre: The legacy of Tupac Man, it’s so hard to summarize that.

Mike Tyson: Whenever I travel to Russia, Kazakhstan, or Uzbekistan, people often inquire about Tupac’s condition. How did he seem to be? Ugandan child soldiers exclaimed, “Tupac blows my mind.”

Eminem: The first rapper that ever brought me to tears was Tupac. It’s like, whoa, that’s me!

Snoop Dogg: An individual is considered a male till the age of 27. At 25, he is still a baby. However, Tupac was an exceptional mоtherfucker. and the spirit that, thanks to his mother, has only intensified. Even before he arrived, she was fantastic.

It goes without saying that Eminem’s relationship with Tupac has not deteriorated with age. “Loyal to the Game,” Tupac’s ninth studio album and fifth posthumous album, was produced by Marshall. However, Em requested permission to work on Tupac’s upcoming record in a letter addressed to Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother, even earlier. Afeni must have found the letter compelling because she consented to have Marshall write three new songs for the “Tupac: Resurrection” soundtrack CD in 2003.

Em was well aware of the significance of Tupac’s mother relationship even before this documentary aired. Nonetheless, as the designers intend to make “Dear Mama” both an aural and visual experience, the general public can now learn some new information and even hear some new music.
