Eminem & Big Sean cheer on Detroit Lions to historic NFL playoff victory

Eminem & Big Sean cheer on Detroit Lions to historic NFL playoff victoryEminem and Big Sean were present for the Detroit Lions’ historic playoff victory over the Los Angeles Rams because they know it has been a long time coming for the team.

The two legendary Detroit rappers arrived at Ford Field on Sunday night, January 14, to support their team as the Lions defeated the Rams 24-23 to earn Detroit its first postseason win since January 1992.

Before the game, Slim Shady and Sean Don were pictured on the sidelines wearing Lions apparel with other Detroit icons including retired wide receiver Calvin Johnson and former running back Barry Sanders.

“For Detroit, all of these players put MAJOR points on the board. Reposting the shot on Instagram, fellow Motor City resident Royce Da 5’9” said, “Salute.”

In the comments section, DJ Premier added, “Amazing Pic.”

Here are a few of the pictures.

Slim Shady even gоt the crоwd gоing with a chant tо his hit sоng, “Lоse Yоurself,” in the middle оf the game.

Additiоnally, Eminem perfоrmed a cоmmercial fоr Sunday Night Fооtball оn NBC, revealing that he wants tо see the Liоns win the Super Bоwl in 2024 as his New Year’s resоlutiоn.

“I resоlved tо win the Super Bоwl with the Liоns in 2019.” What’s up, then?” he asked.

In a another video, he was seen pleading with former Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford—who is currently with the Rams—to help his former team.

Stafford, I rapped for you. I rapped for you, bro. He implored the QB, “Can you just let us have this one?”

When the Lions host another home game at Ford Field on Sunday, January 22, against the winner of tonight’s Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, Eminem should be free to play.

Marshall Mathers has strong ties to the Lions and has been a familiar sight at home games. He was a star on HBO’s Hard Knocks when he showed up to the team’s practice in 2022 and served as an honorary captain during the coin toss at the 2018 home opener.

“I said I’m here for whatever position,” the rap veteran informed close collaborator Denaun Porter while standing on the sidelines. “Yes, I am present. Any one of them. Every one of them.

“I’ll stand on the sidelines and if you guys need to put me in, put me in,” the man said. Any position, I’m good. Actually, I’m excellent in any role.
