According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, Dakota Johnson celebrated Thanksgiving this year with his partner Chris Martin, his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow (who recently married Brad Falchuk), and their kids, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12.

The insider said, “They’re a whole modern family and had a great time celebrating together.”

The November vacation occurred over a month after a fabricated rumor surfaced, claiming that the 41-year-old Coldplay frontman and 29-year-old Bad Times at El Royale actress were expecting a child together. Johnson’s representative told PEOPLE shortly after the rumors started to spread that the actress is not expecting.

Johnson clarified the situation during his interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show a few days after the fake news went viral, saying that “a lot of people congratulated me.”

The pair was reportedly hosting a sex reveal party when pink and blue balloon strands were observed during a get-together at Martin’s place, which caused confusion. But it was all just one giant miscommunication.

“I was pregnant because there were balloons that happened to be pink and blue on my birthday,” the woman recalled. “I was unaware that the balloons would be let go. They were arranged in an arch. But that might have happened by mistake. One of the ends came loose.

Martin and Johnson have been dating for more than a year. After being sighted together on a sushi date in Los Angeles in mid-October 2017, the two initially gave rise to dating rumors.

Despite the fact that the pair has kept their romance quiet, the actress recently said, “I’m not going to talk about it, but I am very happy,” to Tatler.
