Linkin Park has broken a new record on the Billboard charts with their comeback album ‘From Zero.’”’
For the first time since the chart began in 2020, the entire top 10 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart is filled with songs from a single album. All ten spots are occupied by tracks from ‘From Zero.’
The lead single ‘The Emptiness Machine’ is currently at No. 1, followed by ‘Heavy Is the Crown,’ ‘Two Faced,’ ‘Over Each Other,’ ‘Cut the Bridge,’ ‘Stained,’ ‘Good Things Go,’ ‘Overflow,’ ‘Casualty,’ and ‘IGYEIH.’
The only track from From Zero not currently charting is the 22-second introductory title track.
This is the first Linkin Park album since the death of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017, and the first with new lead singer Emily Armstrong. ‘From Zero’ debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
Linkin Park has earned its sixth No. 1 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart since starting in 2006. This is their first since ‘One More Light,’ the album before ‘From Zero.’ It spent two weeks at No. 1 in 2017.
‘From Zero’ also became the band’s ninth No. 1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart, which began in 2007. This achievement breaks the tie Linkin Park held with Pearl Jam for the most No. 1 albums in the chart’s history. The new album has replaced Linkin Park’s ‘Papercuts,’ which had been at No. 1 for the last seven weeks and has now spent 18 weeks at the top this year.
