CHESTER BENNINGTON’s son claims LINKIN PARK are “in with SEAN COMBS,” aka DIDDY./
Jaime Bennington, son of late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, recently took to his Instagram stories to make the accusation, writing:“Mike Shinoda and crew are in with Sean Combs. It’s real! /
“Members of Linkin Park + Machine Shop Records have attended at least 2 Diddy parties, one in 2004 and 2010. /
“And the month before the 2020 release of the ‘Hybrid Theory’ Anniversary box set, Linkin Park formally acknowledges Linkin Park Day established by Sean Combs himself in 2010 in promotion of the band’s new single ‘The Catalyst’ off of ‘A Thousand Sons.’” Jaime continued, sharing screenshots from both Shinoda’s and Diddy’s social media accounts as “proof” of their connection. /
One screenshot of a tweet written by Shinoda in 2010 reads: “Agreed. Good times. At the Diddy party with Mike Shinoda, Kevin Rose [and] Ev Williams. Good people.”Jaime also shared a tweet done by Diddy the same year, in which he wrote: “I Declare Today is Linkin Park Day!! Pls go BUY to their NEW Song ‘Catalyst!’ It’s having such a spiritual positive effect on my life rt Now!”/
Jaime also shared a screenshot of a tweet by Linkin Park’s official Twitter/X account from 2020 in which they retweeted Diddy’s post about “Linkin Park Day” with the added caption: “Happy Linkin Park Day.”/
Chester Bennington’s son has been extremely critical of Linkin Park recently, often going on long tangents online about the band, accusing them of trying to erase his father’s legacy with new singer Emily Armstrong.
